Above is an aerial detail survey undertaken from 60m flight height at approximately 15mm GSD. The mapping resulted in relative accuracies of 15mm in the XY plane and 100mm in the Z plane, and absolute accuracies of less than 150mm. Both DEM and DTM were extracted and contours derived for key areas across the site.  

A UAV mapping flight over a 9ha stretch of the Snowy River, Dalgety NSW Australia. The resulting aerial ortho-image is highly detailed with a ground sample distance of approximately 2cm.

Exemplified by the above survey, AeroSpatial’s has experience flying within some of the most difficult environments. The above analysis were the result of an indoor flight over a cement clinker stockpile. The task required a custom-built drone, indoor traditional survey control and overnight results turnaround.
